About the Parkinson Ambassador Network

Parkinson Canada is currently recruiting representatives from across Canada to join our National Advocacy Network as Parkinson’s Ambassadors. We are looking for motivated individuals to help move Parkinson’s issues forward. Whether you are a person living with Parkinson’s, a caregiver to someone living with the disease, or simply want to help with the cause, you can be a champion in your community by being the voice for Canadians with Parkinson’s!

As a representative of the Parkinson’s community, you will meet with your local officials to discuss issues impacting the Parkinson’s community. You will be a vital part of our Ambassador Network, made up of dedicated volunteers doing the same thing in ridings across the country.

Parkinson Canada provides training and support to Ambassadors to ensure that they are successful in their efforts. Parkinson’s Ambassadors will also have opportunities throughout the year to participate in other national and/or provincial advocacy initiatives.

There are many communities across the country that need our representation. We could use your help to explain to both federal and provincial elected officials the needs of the Parkinson’s Community. Our goal is to eventually have representation in every single federal riding in this country. Policy makers from all corners of the country need to hear and understand the issues impacting the Parkinson’s community. To see our current coverage, please click the link below. If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador and see that your riding is already covered, you can still come forward & be part of the Network.
